Hyperion C - Mach 15 Scramjet Platform With Super Conducting Plasma Actuation
Hyperion C, is the 3rd generation
of the Hyperion Series for Mach 10-15 Scramjet capabilities.
Fuel for this platform is compressed hydrogen, utilizing our own 2nd gen high pressure conforming tank technologies which are patented by USPTO US20210080060 which allows this platform to have a 17 gallons capacity (3,927 cubic inch) at 16,000 PSI. This pressure is the equivalent to 68 gallons at a standard high pressure cylinder volume. This allows us to store 400% more energy, but because this is a conforming tank, cylinders no longer matter, we can produce them in any overall shap to conforming with the aerospace/product dimensions.
The propulsion for Hyperion B is a very advanced scramjet with dynamic fuel/air mixture and dynamic ignition, which allow for much high performance for scramjet propulsion and self start.
The variable geometry aspects for the inlet decks, also provides for a broad envelope for operating anywhere from Mach 10-15 and from 30,000ft to 90,000+ ft, which no scramjet produced to date is able to operate. Lower altitude capabilities for Hyperion C, are un-attainable by any defense funded program in existence, due to aerothermaldynamics.
But we eliminate this by incorporated Superconducting Plasma Actuation, also commonly referred to as Dielectric Laminar Flow Control. Except ours is much more advanced, providing greater then 1,000% the actuation effects vs any funded program.
Superconducting plasma actuation, allow Hyperion C to produce a plasma shield around the BOW region of the aircraft, thus minimal thermal transfer occurs resulting in surface temps of only 200-500F, rather then 3,000+F at Mach 10.
Additionally, this plasma shield is controllable and offers attitude control of the nose of the aircraft, enhanced control authority. These same features are built into the ventral ducts offer enhanced roll and elevator control as well.
Hyperion C's fuselage and under
skin is 3D printed graphene, as 1 single piece. Because of this, the
airframe itself weighs only a few pounds, but the strength is 33X greater
then solid titanium. After all hardware and systems are
installed, total weight of the platform itself is approximately 200 LBS.
To put that into comparison, the X-51 was 1,228 LBS. HAWC, etc are similar
heavier weights.
